Join the Magic at Disney’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2025 – A Night of Family Fun!
Hey, fairy tale adventurers! Amy from Amy’s Fairy Tale Escapes here, and let me tell you, our family’s opening night at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2025 on August 15 was pure magic! We’re still buzzing from the fun, and this spooktacular event, running select nights through October 31 at Magic Kingdom, is a must-do for families any night. Here’s why you need to join the party! 🎃✨
Our Opening Night Adventure
We went all out for opening night, dressed as Peter Pan characters! My husband rocked it as Smee, I channeled Wendy, our daughter sparkled as Tinkerbell, and our twin boys stole the show as Captain Hook and Peter Pan. The kids were loaded with so much candy from the treat trails—M&M’s, Snickers, you name it—we’ve got leftovers to share at Halloween! From 7 PM to midnight (with entry at 4 PM!), Magic Kingdom was a whimsical wonderland of spooky fun that’s perfect for all ages.
Why Every Night’s a Treat
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade (8:15 PM & 11:15 PM): The Headless Horseman leads a dazzling parade with Mickey, Minnie, and villains like Jafar. Our kids cheered for the Sanderson Sisters—pure Disney joy!
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular: Winifred, Sarah, and Mary brew up fun on the Cinderella Castle stage with baddies like Hades. Sing along and feel the magic!
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular: At 10 PM, Jack Skellington’s fireworks show lights up the sky with projections and a spooky story. Snag a castle view for the best experience!
Trick-or-Treating Galore: The treat trails are endless fun—our kids’ candy haul was epic! You’ll leave with plenty to munch or share.
New in 2025: Meet Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes at Town Square Theater—a rare treat! Storybook Circus is a kid-friendly haunt with silly ghosts and themed snacks.
Spooky Snacks
Indulge in party-exclusive treats like the Ghostly Delight Sundae (chocolate ice cream with marshmallow cream and sprinkles) or the Pumpkin-spiced Coffee Barbecue Pork Sandwich on a purple sweet potato bun. Our family couldn’t get enough!
Tips from Amy
Tickets: Dates sell out fast, especially in October. Book through Amy’s Fairy Tale Escapes for a seamless plan!
Costumes: Dress up like we did (Peter Pan crew, anyone?) but keep it family-friendly per Disney’s rules. It’s so fun!
Timing: Hit rides like Haunted Mansion early for shorter waits, then trick-or-treat later when trails are quieter.
Candy Tip: With hauls like ours, save some for Halloween handouts to spread the Disney magic!
Construction Note: Frontierland’s under construction in 2025, so expect some walls, but the Cadaver Dans’ ghostly tunes keep the spooky vibes alive.
Why You’ll Love It
Our opening night adventure proved this party is a blast any night! From dancing at the Zom-Beats Bash inspired by Zombies 4 to snapping pics with Jack and Sally, it’s a night of nostalgia and joy. Dress up, grab candy, and make memories that’ll last longer than your candy stash!
